Welcome to Zanzibar Coffee Shop and Bistro, where we hope you find a ‘haven of tranquility in a busy world’.

In planning Zanzibar we wanted to provide an excellent service and good quality food.

We believe in Fair Trade and we firmly believe in buying locally wherever possible. In addition, we only use Free Range eggs, again from a local supplier.

All our meals are prepared to order and any menu choice preceded with ‘Zanzibar’ or ‘Lyn’ means that we make this ourselves, using our own recipes.

Being vegetarian, we fully understand the particular needs of fellow veggies and many of our menu choices reflect this.

Our soups are made on the premises and that means taking raw ingredients, cooking and blending – No tin or packet was harmed preparing our soups!

In response to customer demand, we now stock a range of Gluten Free Items including ‘Shepherd’s Pie’, bread rolls, sausages & snack bars.
